Optimism • Forsythia Flower Essence

The bright yellow blooms of forsythia are associated with calling in a sense of confidence, calm energy & optimism and are soothing to the nervous system. They help to bring balance and harmony with the spirit and the four elements. These forsythia blooms were gathered in the early morning, under the daytime moon and set under the full morning sun to infuse.

Flower essences capture the energetic imprint of blossoms and are used as allies for emotional well-being, spiritual growth and ritual practice. They’re made by delicately placing flowers into a crystal bowl filled with spring water, then setting the bowl beneath the sun (or sometimes the moon), allowing the essence or energetic imprint of the flower to transfer to the water. Once the flower has imparted its essence, this energized water is carefully blended into the finished flower essence preparation.

Forsythia essence can be taken as a daily elixir (a few drops in tea or water), or can be used during ritual, divination or added to spell jars for spiritual healing, wisdom or protection against negative or chaotic energy.
